Local Plainfield, IN super dad Greg Palencer has won hhgregg's It's All About Dad contest, receiving a new LG home theater package, including a LG 50” Plasma HDTV and an LG Blu-ray™ home theater system. 

hhgregg selected Greg as the contest winner out of more than 1,300 entries. Greg was chosen for his selfless dedication to his children. Greg saved the lives of both his son, by signing off on an experimental cancer treatment for him that ultimately saved his life, and his daughter by donating his kidney when she needed one to survive.

hhgregg is growing! While the company recently opened a new hhgregg Atlanta-area location in Snellville, GA, hhgregg executives have outlined plans to add 16-18 new hhgregg locations, many before the holiday season, over the next fiscal year.


Tampa is one area that is very excited about hhgregg's plans to expand there. Tampa will join the 14 other hhgregg Florida locations, including Lakeland, Tallahassee, West Melbourne, Jacksonville and Orlando. With the opening of these stores, the company has created 400 hhgregg jobs for Florida residents. Stay tuned for more details on Tampa and other markets soon!
