Today, we use the KitchenAid Stand Mixer to create Whipped Cream with Chef Jon Oliver. Watch the video tutorial below to learn how easy it can be to work with one of our favorite small kitchen appliances.
KitchenAid Stand Mixer Whipped Cream Filling Tutorial

Yield: 2 cups
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Pro tip: Chill the bowl and beaters prior to whipping to help achieve the ideal consistency.
- Attach bowl and wire whip to KitchenAid stand mixer.
- Place heavy cream, sugar and vanilla in mixer bowl. Tip: Heavy cream will double in volume when whipped.
- Turn to medium speed and whip until cream begins to thicken. Continue whipping for several minutes until cream is fluffy but not too firm.
- Add the freshly made whipped cream to your favorite dessert item and enjoy!
