NCAA Tournament: Day 1 Recap
20 Mar, 2015
One Day Has Gone By And Nearly Everyone’s Bracket Has Been Busted
It is safe to say that the NCAA Tournament is not going according to many people’s plans.
After weeks of arduous work, second-guessing and research, college basketball’s biggest tournament managed to wreck nearly every single bracketologist’s hard work in a single day.
Upsets were aplenty on Thursday, from UAB’s (14) one-point victory over Iowa State (3) to Georgia State’s (14) dramatic triumph over Baylor (3).
With a number of surprising results, it’s not shocking to see that many brackets have already failed to predict the outcome of March Madness. What is a little surprising is how many brackets couldn’t even make it through the first day.

Yes, of the 11.6 million people who filled out a bracket on ESPN, 0.1 percent of them are still perfect.
But hey, this is why March Madness is so great. Every year, we all sit around and try to predict how the tournament will turn out and each year, without fail, almost all of us are wrong in the most exciting and spectacular ways imaginable.
