Smoked Turkey and Cheese Spreadby hhgregg
Turn a classic sandwich into a delicious appetizer with this Turkey and Cheese Recipe Spread. #FoodieFriday
- 1/2 pkg cream cheese (8 oz), room temperature
- 1 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup fully cooked smoked turkey (about 6 oz), chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- salt, pepper
Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise in processor; blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to medium bowl. Mix in 1/4 cup pecans and 1/4 tablespoon parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add turkey and process, using on/off turns, until coarse paste forms. Spoon into small serving bowl.
Sprinkle top with remaining pecans and parsley.
Can be prepared 3 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving. Delicious on crackers or as a filling for small tea sandwiches.
